Pink Lady® is broadening the capabilities of its global team with two significant appointments in Twenty Degrees, strengthening the services and support for licensees, growers and partners across the Pink Lady® network.
Justin Smith – Group Head of Supply and Production
A familiar face to partners across the Pink Lady® network, Justin will assume new responsibilities in the global organisation in his new role as Group Head of Production and Supply.
In this newly created role, Justin will oversee the supply and demand dynamics across the world, identifying opportunities for importers and exporters, developing partnerships and fostering relationships to help Pink Lady achieve consistent 12-month supply across the markets. A key element of this will be how 20 Degrees supports Pink Lady growers in certain markets from a production perspective. Justin and his team will develop new planting development support systems and ongoing production support to new and existing growing regions.
Working closely with Jason Morris, Global General Manager of Pink Lady®, Justin will analyse and identify opportunities for production volume growth to support demand across both mature and emerging markets.
Justin will leverage his experience leading the Industry Services function at Apple & Pear Australia Ltd and combine this with his expertise in Territory Management for Pink Lady in India, applying his deep understanding of the growing dynamics to identify prospective opportunities for new plantings to enable Pink Lady® to grow and capture consumer demand sustainably.
Staying connected to the Australian industry and retaining his Territory Management responsibilities in India, Justin will assume his new role effective immediately.
